If you are struggling with how to love yourself and feel confident with who you are then you’ll want to read on because today I want to share something with you close to my heart. It might sound crazy at first, so please hear me out:

You don’t need to struggle with your self-confidence.

In fact, I’ll take that a step further: you have every reason to be confident in yourself, your body, and your personality, and gaining confidence in things, you’ll free yourself up to finding, keeping, and maintaining a loving, healthy relationship!

I know that sounds confusing and impossible. Sometimes imagining yourself without your insecurities is an impossible feat. The hours we spend worrying about the way we look, what people think of us, if we’ll find true love, and if our partner is happy with us is far too substantial to track.

Trust me, I’ve been there.

One failed relationship after another eventually convinced me that love was not in the cards for me. I felt as though I was lacking something. I was messing it up. Something about me was wrong, and that’s why all of my relationships failed.

I knew that if I continued seeking men’s approval, love, and validation instead of actually caring for myself, I would never achieve the life I wanted. So while lying in my bed in tears after yet another heartbreak, I decided I had to be honest with myself. I had to make a change.

I had to dive into truly loving myself before I would be able to accept authentic love from someone else.

This journey starts with confidence, and I know that’s scary. I know that discarding your long list of insecurities is much easier said than done. I know what it’s like to doubt yourself, to wonder if you’re likeable, and to worry whether or not you are worthy of the relationship you dream about. I know how hard it can be to believe in yourself and to love who you are.

But I also want you to know this: Not only is it possible for you to trash all of your insecurities but by doing so you will have the confidence necessary to attract the man of your dreams.

By allowing yourself to love yourself, you will open your life up to new opportunities and endless options. By taking a small step towards loving yourself today, you’ll allow yourself that much room and more to gain confidence tomorrow. While lacking confidence is perfectly human, you shouldn’t willingly allow yourself to be self-sabotaging or self-defeating.

You are beautiful and worth loving.

You have talents that people admire.

You are worthy of confidence and deserve to be adored.
